Sunday 5th Feb saw the Nottinghamshire Indoor County Championships held by Sherwood Archers, a Portsmouth Round. A mixed bag of results were had by our archers, but we competed in 4 different categories this time, rather than just Longbow.

The Club honours were up held by our sharp shooter, Steve Gamble, who successfully defended his County Indoor Longbow Champion, for the 5th consecutive year. Sue Haynes shot in the Ladies Recurve scoring a personal best coming 6th, Mark Charlish shot Compound and came 9th, whilst Bryan Haynes shot his usual Longbow in the lunchtime session coming 4th and also shot recurve in the afternoon session – his first competative recurve tournament for over 2 1/2 years, coming 28 out of 35 archers.

We did try to get Stylo/Jane over from Derby, Martin/Vicky and Colongbow (Compoundlongbow) Steve (excuse of moving house) to shoot so that we would have most of the club shooting, but alas, snow/house moving got in the way.
