Today saw Sue Haynes in action at Meriden for their Pre Season FITA tournament.  A very strong field of archers were present with the likes of Naomi Folkard, Simon Terry, Duncan Busby, Lee Ankers.  Mario had given her a goal of breaking 950, however Sue in her usual style, took no notice of Mario and shot a 1050 to claim her 1000 FITA star and 1050 Black English Cross, finishing a credible 15th out of 22.   Mario’s response to this was “1100 next time then”  This was Sue’s first full FITA competition and first Bowmen score.
