The 2011 Nottinghamshire County Team Gents Longbow Selection – A story in 4 Chapters.

Chapter 4 – The shoot that time (but especially our author) forgot…to write a report about.

Sunday 10 July and most of our gents longbow archers had arrived at Rolls Royce Bowmen of Sherwood  in … Hucknall.  Bryan as usual had pitched tent and had a brew on – it’s his army training you know. Mark was sat on a chair trying to reserve a spot on the shooting line for his tent which was arriving late with Dave who rumour has it last received any form of training when there was a potty involved.

Now about the shoot itself – urmmm I know we shot some sighters and we shot 144 arrows after that. Try as I might I cant recall a whole lot of anything else happening – anyway the final table ended up like this:

This means Steve and Dave and Mark have qualified for the county team and will represent at Nottinghamshire at the Thoresby
