20th June, Rolls Royce Bowmen of Sherwood held their annual Mid Summer Eve shoot at Hucknall.  Despite an early threatening cloud, the evening remained dry.  A good turn out of almost 80 archers turned out for a splendid evenings shooting.

Bryan, for a change, picked up his Recurve bow on the Monday to practice for the  Wednesday evening tournament.   He put in a respectable score of 503, putting him in 6th place from a field of 23 gents recurve archers.  This, with the practice on Monday and Tuesday evening, dropped Bryan’s handicap by 2 points.
